AI Is Taking Over – But It's The Beginning of Something Big

The AI industry is evolving at lightning speed.
Right now, nearly every multibillion-dollar company is racing to build its own AI model.
Take Google, for example.
On May 20, 2025, they launched Veo 3—an AI video generator that not only creates visuals but also incorporates audio seamlessly.
“Veo 3 excels from text and image prompting to real-world physics and accurate lip syncing,”
— Eli Collins, VP of Product, Google DeepMind
This signals a massive shift on the horizon, especially for the content creation and movie industries.
Yet, many still downplay the impact of AI.
Why?
Because most of these models are in their early stages.
But don’t be fooled…
AI is coming for jobs, especially routine, administrative ones.
Employers are under pressure to cut costs and save time.
Replacing humans with machines is often their first move.
But here's the twist:
While AI will automate repetitive tasks, it will create demand for more creative and strategic roles.
Roles that require critical thinking, human judgment, and adaptability.
In fact, just last week, an article made the rounds online:
IBM laid off over 8,000 employees.
But at the same time, they ramped up hiring.
CEO Arvind Krishna told The Wall Street Journal:
“Our total employment has actually gone up, because what [AI] does is it gives you more investment to put into other areas.”
These areas include software engineering, marketing, sales, and yes, cybersecurity.
Because, as smart as machines are, they can’t protect themselves.
They need humans—real, flesh-and-blood experts to defend digital frontlines.
And that’s where you come in.
I wasn’t born a cybersecurity expert.
Neither were my students.
I recently interviewed one of them, Adeola Ajayi, who transitioned from a Geophysics background to working in cybersecurity for a multimillion-dollar company.
Her story proves that anyone, regardless of background, can break into this field.
Want to hear exactly how she did it, so you can replicate her success?

Remember… Cybersecurity is AI bulletproof.
It’s not going anywhere, and neither should you.
